There's a tumblr called whoneedsfeminism that provides plenty of reasons why women's rights is still an important issue. Look it up if you're interested.Thing is, there’s still sexism. There’s lots of it, thing is it only goes one way in this society. Recently a UFC card girl was arrested for beating her husband. But you don’t see anybody freaking out over it other than her employers, the UFC. This isn’t looked at as such a terrible crime when the roles are switched. If you apply your focus on one gender, only half of the work gets done. I look at feminism as the idea of solving gender inequality issues by focusing only on the issues of one, it just doesn’t work.
